They enjoy playing their own special blend of honky-tonk/country. 1:45 • NiteRail Tree Frog is proud to present one of the area’s newest blues bands. This trio plays the blues with a classic, raw edge. 2:30 • Arkan From Minsk, Belarus, this exceptional guitarist was chosen to tour as a duet with mandolin and violin virtuoso Peter Ostroushko. 3:30 • The Divers Having played Tree Frog many times, this Southern Minnesota quartet is a crowd favorite. Enjoy their contemporary folk/rock and rich harmonies! 4:00 • Spider John Koerner AND Tony "Little Sun" Glover In the early 60’s, these two musicians, as part of the legendary trio Koerner, Ray and Glover, dug deep to the roots of American music and sparked a blues/folk revival that brought the blues to a whole new audience. Over their 40 year career, they’ve had a major influence on many musicians including Dylan, Lennon, The Doors, Bonnie Raitt and others. Tree Frog is proud to present this extremely rare performance by these two legends of Minnesota music. 5:00 • The Murphy Brothers Band Guitar rock at its best! Drummer Dick Dusek and guitarist Steve Murphy were inducted this year into the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame! 6:00 • Family Groove Company Four piece, groove oriented band with elements of rock, funk and jazz in their music has recently relocated from LA to Chicago. 7:00 • Ross William Perry Young bluesman Perry returns to Tree Frog with his sharp vocals and smokin’ hot guitar playing. It wouldn’t be Tree Frog without their special blend of rock, blues and country/folk! 9:00 • Martin Zellar and The Hardways One of the Midwest’s most respected rock musicians, Martin Zellar is best remembered as the frontman/singer-songwriter for the Gear Daddies. With his band The Hardways, he performs country-tinged, roadhouse rock known for its honest, down-home, real-life lyrics. Come early! Martin always draws a big crowd! |
